Sierra Nevada Tap Takeover

Sierra Nevada Tap Takeover (1).png

On Saturday, September 8th, Sierra Nevada is taking over our taps with some specialty brews! Draught beers will start pouring at 12:00 p.m. with shwag giveaways later in the day / evening.

SPECIAL TAPPINGS

California Common – 6.8% 68 IBUs

Brewed with 100% Admiral Malt out of Alameda, CA, this beer is true to style with malty, earthy notes that you traditionally get with hand crafted floor malt barley. Our CA Common finishes with a slight sweetness and a mild citrus, piney character that will have you coming back for more.

Southern Hemisphere Hoppy Pilsner – 5.5% 40 IBUs.

New Zealand’s Wai-Iti hop is bright with aromas of mandarin and lime zest. Add the signature orange zest/marmalade notes from Pacifica hops, also of New Zealand, and you have our Southern Hemisphere Hoppy Pilsner. Crisp and clean with hints of orange zest and spice, it combines subtle complexity and superb drinkability.

BFD Beer For Drinking – 4.9% 33 IBUs.

Hoppy Blonde highlighting Simcoe, Comet and Polaris hops. Unfussy, uncomplicated perfectly brewed ale. Meant to drinking, not collecting.

Oktoberfest 2018 – 6% 20 IBUs

A collaboration with Bavaria’s Weihenstephan, the world’s oldest brewery, for this American take on the classic German Oktoberfest. A malt backbone is balanced by subtle hop character in this crisp, clean, and drinkable crowd-pleaser. Every year Sierra Nevada partners with a different German brewery to release the most authentic American Oktoberfest on the market. All ingredients from these collabs, besides the water, come from Germany. Weihenstephan also released a different SNBC collab earlier this year – BrauPact.

Trip in the Woods: Maple Scotch – 9.8%, Aged 10 mo in Bourbon Barrels, 2018 Release

Balanced and rich, this classic Scotch Ale was brewed with mpale syrup and aged in bourbon barrels. Flavors and aromas of oak, maple and caramel round out this delicious and complex beer.
